About the event
This 2 part course is open to everyone, but will be focusing on bar and hospitality staff.
The day will start with Conflict Resolution, a very useful skill in de-esculating threats of violence from alcohol fuelled members of the public. This part of the course is a practical skill to be used by anyone in all parts of life, not just work, by understanding why people use violence and how to avoid making a situation worse.
The second part of the day will cover some more hands on practical skills to safely remove threats, from self defense to controlling a violent situation.
