About the event

We are returning!

After having to cancel the 2020 Event, and hosting 2 Online Events we are welcoming back our 3rd year of the  McBane Event. We will offer a full weekend of training and research in the historical Old Town of Scotland's capital, Edinburgh. Offering workshops in McBane's method of Smallsword, plus guest instructors teaching a variety of weapons that McBane wrote about. The first day will be a rare chance to study and handle an original copy of McBane's treatise, and other notable treatises, as well as the weapons of the time. Followed by 2 days of hard training. There will be a formal dinner, and several special McBane Ales brewed exclusively for the weekend. Hope to see you along
